“This wooden horse head is one of a beautiful pair of two made by my grandfather, from my mom’s side. I remember my childhood surrounded by D. Maria’s style furniture created by him. Being in covid’s quarantine, gave me the chance to have a thorough observation of his artistic work which I started to photograph and layouting it. His talent was quite often sought by Ricardo Espírito Santo’s foundation to make replicas of their art pieces collection.”
